Who is Fearless Mae?

Jacquea Mae is an international vocalist, actress, playwright, poet, and multidisciplinary creative artist whose powerful, soulful presence has graced stages across Pittsburgh, Switzerland, Ghana, and beyond. Known for her dynamic performances and ability to move effortlessly through soul, funk, blues, R&B, rock, gospel, and spoken word, Mae brings both depth and electricity to every space she enters.

For more than two decades, Jacquea has also dedicated herself to mentoring, teaching, caring for, and empowering youth throughout Pittsburgh. Her work with young people is deeply connected to her belief in the transformative power of creativity, music, culture, and self-expression.

As a longtime member of the band NASH.V.ILL, Jacquea helped create a sound she describes as “southern fried soulful bluesy funk, smothered in rock & roll gravy.” Now, she is stepping further into her solo artistry, developing new music, creative productions, theatrical works, and community-centered projects through her creative company, Fearless Mae Productions. With a new chapter unfolding, Jacquea Mae is creating boldly, performing fearlessly, and building a body of work rooted in music, storytelling, culture, healing, and liberation.
